No Life Without The Stars, The Sun, The Moon, Or You.

This is my attempt at something lighter, since its summer or something like that. I wanted to take more pictures but I kept crashing and these were the only ones I could take. I've changed my shape and skin, still testing it out, since I'm so partial to the old one. And I haven't had any feedback on this one, so can't say if I will keep it or not.

Is it so weird that I gushed over meeting Strawberry Singh? Mind you, it was to help me out at the Zaara store, but still, I do enjoy reading her posts.

I've been meaning to get better at taking pictures, but with the crashing, and then having the tendency of overediting my photos, it will take me a while to get something on the screen like how I see it in my head.

I'm no where near to having the Second Life I wanted, and not even sure what that is, but meandering about on my own is definitely not it.

Don't Dream It's Over

It's been quite a while since I've updated the blog. Just sort of set it on the back burner, even though it wasn't what I really intended to do. SL was definitely not what I wanted it to be, in the sense that I hoped to connect with more people, but for the most part it's just a place to wander. The "social scene" isn't really my thing, in the sense of using Plurk and Facebook or whatnot to interact with people or avatars or w/e. Probably why I only stuck to a handful of people while I'm online.

I'm not sure where I'm going with this post, much like my avi in SL, just visiting sims and the only proof of being there are through the pictures I take. This set has more significance for me than the previous ones I've done, which was more fashion related than having a story or thought behind it. Visiting this sim, which the name now escapes me and I'm too lazy to go look for it right at this moment, I was pleasantly surprised to see the Police Public Call Box, since I'm a huge Doctor Who fan.... lol. But what struck me more than anything was how desolate the area appeared to be, sort of abandoned. I think that's the only way I can't get bored with SL, because endless shopping and changing outfits does get boring, and the only remedy is to find those things that strike a chord in you.

So before I divulge any more personal thoughts and feelings, and already feeling close to that edge, I hope to continue to find those special places in SL and even better, have special people to share it with.
